About The straight lines and crisp wood are hurt by the watermarks along the scar line and the 'hatch' has been locked so long it's all rusted. I like to see it as a metaphor for a scarred soul. Someone who is scarred usually locks oneself off from others for a long time, hence the rust. Let me know what you think.
