I have been dabbling in taking snapshots for many years but have only seriously started "learning" how to see and take photos in the last 2 years. I cannot even say if there is a genre I like to take.. at this stage I shoot anything except for travel..I love travel, both doing it and taking photos while doing it. You describe yourself as a beginner my dear Victoria but there are many elements of your work that go way beyond that and approach standards of professionalism. I have been taking photographs for over 50 years and I still make beginners' errors, so go figure.
I tend to comment on what I like about a shot as I do not feel qualified to give good advice. I remarked about the perils of shooting up a person's nostrils as I did that on one occasion and managed to capture too much information  . The lighting in your shot of Eden and dark shadows at the nostrils kept you out of that particular problem.
I enjoy seeing your work and it easier to keep up with someone when you take them on board as a 'friend', so I will be keeping an eye on an extremely talented beginner. Best wishes, always......Ray

An exquisite technique for this beautiful portrait study. Your model is so very pretty and she has a most wonderful name. The mono tones are excellent and the contrasts good. Shooting up a models nose is often a bad idea but due to the lovely soft focus you have used this is not a negative issue here. Well done to you Victoria, I must try and keep up with your exciting work. Even more best wishes.......Ray
