Hey, I'm serious here. The Cahokia Mounds park (specifically "Monk's Mound") is on the world historic register... it is the largest man-made earth mound in North America. The area was inhabited by Native Americans and they vanished before the Spanish, French or Brits made their way to the interior of Illinois... no reason or explanation has been proved on why they left. In the 1200's this city was larger than London. And it sits in wee Illinois.... a great place to visit...and yes... like the Acropolis.

Well seen. Cahokia Mounds, Illinois.... a small bit of stockade rebuilt. Cahokia Mounds is a World Historic site.
