The regions inside the DoF are good, Turi, and the strict palkette adds much charm to the feline nature. However that small amount of crystal clear sharpness without pixelations, that part that separates exceptional images from just "acceptable" ones is missing. It is readily visible that there has been a bit of motion blur (I guss the cat moved the head a little bit) which was "corrected" with some of the numberous methods that always show their traces so well.
The fur, the hairs of the cat inside the DoF, especially nar and around the nose, are in the visible velocity field of either mption of the cat or shake of the camera - I assume the first.
Good try and good selection of DoF in a well dosed exposure, but those artefacts are too obvious.
