It was the complementary pair of colors that raised my attention right out of the thumb, Marta, but the full size image is way way better and stronger than the impression that the thumb causes. The lines and contours of the textures of the water surfaces are extremely vivid, well taken, exact and of a tremendous fidelity. The view of the reflected tree with the leaves on the water is of such a contemplative attitude that the signs of real life, the ducks on the bottom, simply disappear from perception. One really looks at the reflected, the "constructed" image out of reflections and real objects. I find the fact so nice that your sharoness remains so naturls and not at alle exaggerated in the sense of digital pixelwise images.
The composition was clever, very clever to me. Just include as much of that tree reflection and of the swimming leaves for getting such a real yet also imaginative image. The exposure balance did work perfectly for that too, as it kept both the shadows of the blues as also the shines of the yellows. It is not a kind of image that conveys anything more to me than photographic experience as such subjects are not interesting for me, but this is irrelevant. Relevant is that you got your subject exposed to a very very high degree of quality.
Now, I could really imagine that as a big poster in some wall.
