About I saw this and thought, "Wow... an interesting moment." And I took several shots hoping to get one that I liked. I like this one. In focus, out of focus, in focus, out of focus... bits here perfectly clear and bits there smudged and slipping... and not a touch of post-production in sight. The eye focuses on the center part by nature and the peripheral vision snaps to the point of focus left and right... and the things blur. Still, the bits on the edge that are in focus, draw us back into the image. And I repeat... all this action is done without PS of any kind. There are times when you just need to out-smart your camera. The three-leaf clover in the middle/lower/center in focus is what makes this work.
