This is another favourite that caught my eye Dave. Beautiful natural tones and excellent details to be seen. A poignant scene of this decaying old fishing boat that still manages to look very good. Well done again my good friend. I'll see you again at some odd time. Take care of you......Ray

I think it is a bit a pretense to be called a Noah Arch, but the little old boat is actually dominating the center of the photo, suggesting the actually name and Subject fro the entire composition. I love the old rocks and houses that were probably meant to complement the old, worn look of the boat, although they are (in the same time) stealing a bit of the focus from the boat. The photo really shows great detail, and I like it for (the somehow) sad and abandoned feeling to it.
Nice work,interesting place, :)

Dave Nice image! I like the boat and rock in the foreground and the composition is just perfect. It is to bad that mother nature did not give you a perfect sky. Sorry Dave! I am into skies these days. Cheers Alvin

Hi Dave, A beautifully detailed image from a very picturesque area. The colour, detail and lighting are all excellent. However, I'm going to go against the grain here a little bit and say that I think I would have prefered the image with the f stop down around f4 in order to separate the foreground boat and rocks from the beautiful, yet "busy" background. Just a personal preference. I know a lot of people including Nick prefer the full image to be in focus with this kind of landscapes. As I say, just a personal liking and both ways work fine. Andre

But good photography never retires, it seems to me, Dave! Even better than the previous one, and a very very well done composition, which I think was not at all so easy in the rather "random" distribution of natural and artificial objects. But you put exactly the right dosis of accents on the protagonist, and at the same time caught its scene so well in perspective! The contrast between the boat and the rest of the image is really very very good. It also seems to have received a bit more enhancement by light, and though the DoF is very large, it also looks to "prefer" the boat in some way. Its textures and details are strong and not at all exaggerated.
Very well done!
Nick

Fantastic shot, so much colour and I like that the colours are slighty soft and not so vibrant because of the cloud cover, a favourite for sure :-)
