So you really induced much in my mind, Andre... I can't imagine that with more "empty" sky but the way you argument makes me wanting to find that out. Another note on my todo list... I am really curious now!
Thanks a lot!
Nick

I wouldn't worry about the "empty" sky in this case Nick. It is fine the way it is. I think sometimes it is good to have some "negative space" in an image. (blank area, nothing going on) The colour of the blank sky in this shot has a lot to do with the nice mood. Andre

Thanks a lot again, Andre!
It will be easy to retry this as you suggest, as the street is right under my flat. But what to do with the emppty sky that woll be more extended then? Crop it off. Or perhaos take some steps toward the higher buildings and try a shot there, in the hope that they will cover some part of the otherwise emopty sky? I'll have to try some differnet points of view and see what it looks like.
Cheers!
Nick

Hi Nick, A few people might comment on the darkness of this image. But, I think you got it right for the time of day you are shooting. What I might suggest is something similar that you suggested on my orange tree image. Eliminate the bottom 1/8 of the image that doesn't really add much. But, leave the rest alone. Andre
