Oh yes, indeed there are many good people here, Srna!
I really wonder... perhaps we could suggest some additional forum thread where they tell us about their methods and intentions for their great images? I know that this is always connected with additional work for the crew of the UF but then again, it could bring some life in this otherwise "soooooo friendly" place. OK, I was too ironic again but the thing is, it is such a pity to not have a common pot of knowledge, spiced up with all the excellence of such good people here...
Another idea could be some regular meeting, be it real or online. We really have to start exchaning minds in some more substantial way than the eternal "ooohh, great image"..
All these things I think about and still I have no real viable idea.

You know, Srna, such "awards" like my or anybody else's words can of course be received in a way that somebody feels "awarded", but if there is no wider appreciation for good work, they they do little good for the forum here. So, I try also my best to wake interest and to perhaps help make some people here a bit more well known because they really deserve that.

It is a very very very good portrait, Srna! Technically on the top with all its fine definition of details but at the same time with not a single trace of that usual artificial oversharpewing of our digital days. What can I say, it is exact and sharp and still smooth, and we can see that on the contours that do not show any zig-zag pixelation at all. This is one that I would put inder the nose of the so many that take unusable images and "correct them" afterwards by sliding the adjustemnt sliders of PS at over 350%. ;-)
Now, add that wonderful exposure balance that kept so exactly and naturally the anaglyph of a face, add the absence of any kind of "hollywoodian pose", and so we have an excellent portrait, of which I really thing it should get an award. Hope the guys of the UF will pay attention.

I love this thousands differend burst of emotion and noble excited facial expression.

Another wonderful portrait of sister Tamara my sweet angel. She does look very caught up in her thoughts and I wonder if her imagination runs riot like mine often does.
