this photo is very expressive about what we think we know about poor people`s life. this photo is a dual explanation of this woman`s life and personality. it`s not just the face that tell her story. I believe that her hands are actually telling more about her. there is the visible part of her life (what she wants us to know about her) expressed by the visible hand. and there are also the details of her life that she is not willing to share with people. that`s expressed by the hidden hand. that is very intriguing and it makes me communicate with the subject of your photo and ask her to reveal the universe she holds secret in the hidden hand. that will be priceless to find out. technically speaking, the photo is well balanced in terms of colors. the colors she wears seem to be part of the whole picture. it`s like she belongs there on the concrete (and that`s sad). I also like the vivid yellow color that underlines exactly what you want the viewer to understand from this image. what intrigues me is the metal door. the vertical and the horizontal lines on the metal door form a Cross intersecting symmetrically behind her head.. and this could be symbolizing a lot for some people. very expressive street shot. congratulations
