This calendar stone represents the Aztec mythical relationship to their gods, which they associated with the respective days of the years and outline, the "stone of the sun" represents the five continents represents Age of the Aztecs and was used in pre-Hispanic Mexico as a cult object and as the basis of astronomical studies.
