it seems to see some lines of reflections on the glass as well as that grain effect on the dark part both disturbing a lot; good rendering for red of the fruit though

Don't mind at all, Brad. Looks really crisp. This is what I really wanted to achieve but I wasn't brave enough to do more photoshop to the original. I like the new colour too. Thanks! :-)

I like the composition in your photo very much ,Nancs -,as well as the idea behind it.Some vertical lines in the image are probably reflections on the glass,but they don't bother me a lot.I also wonder if it would be better to brighten your photo a bit and enhance reds.

Interesting composition I like this image alot.
Could be a touch underexposed and the image could benefit from having a de-noise filter run on it in Photoshop though.
