Only in ~1980 a first email was send from Berkely University. Only in 1996 I had my first 1200 baud modem and dial in account on internet ... mainly email. And 30 years after Berkely we take www for granted ... insane ... incredible.
I bet in 2050 we do not have a single computer in house. Instead we have a small wireless device in the fridge that will send out an order to Wall Mart the moment you grab a heineken from the fridge.
And in 2060 they will laugh about Andre Denis and Wolf Zorrito for having only 2d images on usefilm bcse by that time a wireless Real Life Event Viewer will bring "events" to the user with 3D, sound, smell etc, all connected to a world wide common event database.
And in 2100 every human will have in electronic/biochemical implant capable of all these functions.
Does that sound insane ?

I have a lot of interesting old images of my Dad taken just after WWII with his fellow soldiers. I was thinking of doing some kind of montage and posting it here.
Amazing to think that when they had these images taken, never in their wildest dreams did they think that they could become an international topic for discussion in 2010 because of being seen on something called a World Wide Web.
