Well, as you have probably noticed, I like abstract compositions.. playing with shapes, lines, colors and textures. I liked this shot from that perspective..
However, the initial upload had a few places which looked better when corrected (thanks for some very helful suggestions!) .. like there was a bush on the top left corner which I cloned out, and increased the contrast of the image and got rid of a gray border that I had put..
stuff like that..

A lovely comp.I'd have preferred the foot-prints to lead into the frame or not be there at all .I'm also undecided about your shadow;on one hand it adds a scale and context to the abstract nothingness,on the other hand it mars the perfect smoothness of the sand,In fact,the same can be said about the footprints.

not sure Avi, not sure, think that in this occasion everything should be in focus, there is a competition between the well focused sand's border and your defocused shadow withot a clear focal point
