About MM played volleyball in high school. She is still pretty good considering her age. The other player in the pic is my nephew. It is the same child I made cry last year when I told him about the dog and the locked back door. He is the same one I charged a dollar (American) to ride in the junk wagon and the same one who was told (by me) that if he did not steer the tractor correctly we would both die... then I tried to run over my brother (his father) while this young one kept crying, "No. No. No. No.".... yeah, life as an uncle is great fun. This year (2010) B, my brother and his son (now 7) came down again. This year the young one caused a knot on my head by way of MM's fist. After a few hours out and about in the country (the boy and his father are from Chicago proper) the young one went on a several minute crying/whining jag about, "I wanna go home and see Mommy!" "Mommy" "Mommy" "Mommy" over and over and over and over and over again. When I had finally had enough and B was not making the situation any better I turned to the lad and said very slowly and carefully, "You cannot go home tonight to see your Mommy. Your Mommy died today." Just a blazing second later MM imprinted her knuckles on the right side of my noggin' (skull/head)... women... go figure....
