I like the composition. just a couple of technical nits..
1. since the picture essentially draws the viewer's eyes from corner to corner, I think that for this shot the edge sharpness produced by the lens needs to be spot on... which unfortunately is not in case of the girl. it's just a matter of a better lens..
2. I would crop about 1/2 inch from the left, to start from the central line of the boy's nose.. see attached for what I mean..
