George, this was made from cherries right off our tree. And she makes her crust from scratch. Funny comment about spam. Every year the state fair in Illinois holds a spam contest... some strange and interesting dishes... but I don't think I ever saw a pie...

In my not so humble opinion, cakes are nice, but pie is divine. Perfection between crusts... and the crust of this pie looks outright wonderful. I personally prefer fruit pies to any others, but I'd never turn down a piece... even if it was made with spam.
