My- what big eyes he has!! Wonderful capture! Did you squish him after you shot this? By the way- thanks for your helpful suggestions regarding my photos. Wish there was an easy cure for the problems, but short of purchasing a different camera, I don't know of anything else to do. I am setting the camera on high as well as saving on High photoshop. You said you lived in SW FL. Whereabouts? I'm in Bonita near Naples.

never chased a fly a dragon fly and that was hard enough need a marco lens like this capture nice job of getting this capture.

Close up filters are very bad.. they give you a very narrow DOF.. and it is very frustrating to get good focus. You are better off using a 50mm lens in reverse. you will be working on a DOF that is not that narrow.. compared to close up filters.. Look up articles written by Mark Plonsky. I did use reverse 50mm lens.. and it works great.. but i am now sticking to my camera's built in ability.. look up "david Sweetwater".. also.. and "Richard Flake".

did you use diopters.. i see u were working on a very narrow DOF here. look at mine... i did not post it .. i did it using Coolpix 4500's built in macro feature..
