yeah... well I have a real soft spot for this place I used to work at the Sydney Harbour Bridge Toll Office... where they used to count the money and so on.. right on the corner of the Cahill Expressway and the Grosvenor St Exit... I used to get off the train at Circular Quay and walk up through The Rocks back in 1970... there used to be this shop owned by a sweet old Scottish lady who used to sell me my pipe tobacco... now of course gone The Rocks area had been forgotten for a long while and then began to be redeveloped ... fortunately they didn't destroy it all.. and whilst the integrity is severly compromised (that hideous clock tower building is just sh1t) some bits remain... so do I prefer it 1971 or 2010... sorry 71 wins hands down not because of some silly romantic notion but it WAS better.. it had integrity badly knocked about integrity but nevertheless...

Old V. New... and 1971.... you were what?????? 3 years oldE when ya snapped this???? Plywood.... ya bas--TErD... ya reminded me that when I go home in the summer I have work to do on the LoyWood Homestead......
