Hi Darrin,
One more little experiment with this photo. Brightened up the whole face a little in the front. Th eyes are a lot brighter now. Bye the way, this is really an adorable little boy and you have captured him very well.

Hi Darrin,
This really is a cute kid. The lightning is beautiful! So sunny and bright. ust one little thin: I can see you have added some highlights in the eye; that is okay, but you did overdo a little, so it don't look natural now. I have edited your picture a little, so you can see what I mean. First I have edited the the contrast and brightness in the eyes a little (using a mask on the eyes in PS). Then a soft panitbrush for the highlights in the eye, so it looks natural. I hope you don't mind and I didn't offend you with this. Bye and greetings,
