Dear JD,
For better understanding:
1. Van Gogh was just the example of the artistic soul, and not the comparation with me or anyone.
2. Everything has a soul - the plants and animals and people, of course, they are all sentient beings.
3. I just try to enter the soul into my photos, and the life, in order that they mean something this way, to have a storytelling character.
4. My comments on your photos were only the praise for your work and your ideas.
5. Everything is play and fun, so photos is just the same, a game and we should enjoy in it and be happy.
6. Your pictures are generally quite dark, and it is my opinion, it can only be a reflection of what you carry in your inner world.
7. It was not my attention to heart your feelings, because you're a good man and I respect you and am very honest with everyone generally.
8. It is not a must that a good picture must show only love and the pictures of your Lady are not absence of love.

being very polite I can say you are a funny man
let me explain it:
1) you are very pretentious, are you telling me that your florals and selfs have soul like Van Gogh's pictures?, you must be kidding; Van Gogh was a revolutionary man, your pictures are just average
2) you are very pretentious again, who are you to deduce I'm full of anxiety with images without "love"; you must rethink twice before saying that kind of value judgment; you should look at the every year world press pictures awards; sad, dark pictures but can you say their authors are empty of love?, let me tell, you have no idea about photography if you think a good picture must show just "love"; do you think a snapshot of a lovely cat is just good because the cat is lovely?; do you think the pictures I took of my lady are absence of love? noway man
3) you are not honest, why do you critic many of my pictures in a positive way if you don't like it, I can't understand it, at least I'm honest if I leave a good critic to one of your pictures is because i really like it, now i know you leave good comments just to be polite, so that your comments have left all meaning for me
4) I bet you to get a good technical shot, many bad photographers think it's easy (I thought the same) but no way, it's quite difficult; Picaso painted like Picaso beacuse he was able to paint like Velazquez, At least I'm recognize I'm neither Picaso nor Velazquez, but have no idea Van Gogh was posting in this forum

Yes, my dear JD, I agree that you do not like my photos of flowers and selfportraits, but in each of them is something that is not tied to the camera, lens, and processing. It is the soul, the essence of photography, this is what Van Gogh had in his paintings. In your photos I am looking for a soul, although I do not like the most of your photos. I looked at them, found you and looked into your soul that is full of anxiety, the dark images of the past and I have seldom encountered love in them.
The rules of photography is easy to learn and apply. We will get technical great shots this way, but without soul and artistic expression.
I hope that this will not hurt you and that we will remain friends at UF.
