About This was a meeting place for the Miwok Indians. It was made from oak, wild grapevines, and cedar logs. They had ceremonies and fires inside. Another image from Grinding Rock.

Here's a sturcture that some friends helped us build onto our garage last weekend. These are 100 year-old Osage Orange logs. It will eventually have a corregated metal roof and paving brick floor.
