John: Thanks for the kind words. The results with HIE are fairly prdictable for well lit scenes such as this. I believe I submitted 2 others from the same locale. However, I did have exposure problems when photographing in the deep shade cover of woodlands and haven't had time to resolve the problem. HIE can produce some very interesting images especiallt where lots of green foliage is involved.

wow! this is gorgeous...i don't understand why no one has commented on such a beautiful photo. was this a haphazard kind of shot or could you predict what it would look like with the HIE?
