Greetings Harry, I would say I like the skin tones in the color version on the other hand since I was going for the shadows and a bit of drama I think over all the bw is better. Thank you for your suggestion and critique.

The bw version displays the distribution of light and shadow, pretty good I would say.
The color version now shows it has a nice skin/purple color contrast.
