Low key effect. I should have remembered the name. The opposite of high key. The idea was to show the detail of a dark object against a dark background. Thanks for the comment.

It is edible Harry. Known as Black Aztec Corn used for making popcorn. Kernels pop white and tender. Excellent variety for roasting and grinding into cornmeal.

a low key effect with dark subject and background, perhaps a little to dark for my taste although clarity and texture are still well seen. It's like seeing a black corn in the dark regards
