This image was captured by placing the macro lens of the camera close to a clear, thick, solid, round glass lid of an Orrefors decanter. The lid, about three inches high, and about 1 1/2 inches across, contained a large air bubble, and an indented base. The decanter lid was in front of the leaves of a Dwarf Nandina bush in the garden, in full sunlight, on a cloudless day. The image was then processed in Photoshop, where it was cropped, so that the sides of the lid were removed, and then a great deal of saturation and contrast was added. The blue in the indented base of the lid is a reflection of the sky, and the reds, creams and yellows, are the leaves of the Nandina bush....all distored by the thickness and shape of the lid.
