To achieve this image, I held the macro lens of my camera above the top surface of a thick, clear, opaque, butterfly-motifed glass cake plate, and in bright sunlight, held it above a yellow flowering shrub in the garden. The blue in the image is sky. After the image was captured, I processed it in Photoshop, where the saturation and contrast was increased, until I felt the image had achieved the 'wow' factor.
I realise the image is are quite different, 'out there', and a little kitsch, but I think the effect is quite striking.
It is quite amazing the results that can be achieved by taking different glass objects outside into full sunlight, and holding them above colourful shrubs or flowering plants and bushes in the garden
