wonderful view... I have a photo taken at this lake by the dear friend of mine who helped me learn how to use my Canon AE1. It is framed and hanging in my home. After he died it became my favorite photo, and i started enjoying all photos of this lovely lake. Well done, easy to enjoy.

Beautiful view and fantastic light, Robert.
The idea to include some trees in foregroud add deep to the image.
What a pity that the smoke break a little bit the beauty athmosfere of the place. However we can see that is a fantastic place.

Robert, this is a wonderful place! What a landscape... I like the blue of the lake and the details of the image, only I'm not sure about the lighting. The lower half has vivid and saturated colors, instead the upper half is bright, too bright in my opinion. I don't know the light conditions and why it happened, but you can try to correct it in photoshop (I can't suggest you the right tools because I have an italian version and I'm not sure about the translation). Excellent shot Robert. Very sharp and good contrast. Hope the bugs were not to bad :) I guess by the tital this lake was formed from a meteor impact.
