About
This is a photo of a manually operated wheel ride found in fairs in rural West Bengal. The people engaged in this profession stay with the ride, cooks food, washes clothes and lives in the spot as long as the fair is alive. After the ending of one fair they move to another. Sometimes they do not return to their family for years.
Nice capture of the carnival workers. I'm a little surprised that the ride is "manually" operated. A carnival workers life isn't a glamorous one, that's for sure but it looks like they are happy. Nice photojournalist shot.
Very nice title and concept, dear Arijit: to serve in the way of Mahama Gandhi and Mother Teresa. Splendid image espiritually and aestetically. Wam congratulations. All the best to you my friend,
1st. class about and respective photographic illustration dear Arijit. Composition and tones reflects very well the emotions of this shot. Great, take care.
Very interesting and full of emotions photojournalistic story Arijit with finest timing and powerful bw tones and light ... three different characters but with the same aim and in the same state of minds and feelings, very powerful moment, well taken, love it a lot. Regards, Srna
