I have been experimenting with a project that attempts to combine a photograph and a poem with the hope that the synergy between them will enhance both. I have chosen this sunset shot taken in Santa Monica, California last winter. It seems (I am not sure) that a jet plane left a trail that was distorted by wind which reflected the golden color of the setting sun's light creating unusual golden trail across the sky.
Like many Bangalees, I am deeply inspired and influenced by the Nobel laureate Indian Poet-Philosopher Rabindranath Tagore. I chose his poem "Asha Jawa (Coming & Going)" because of its philosophical depth. I would be interested to see if others think this is a worthwhile project.
Excellent concept and imagery..like your choice of colour and execution ..have you sent this idea to Hallmark...not original .. but what is?? even so they might be interested.
