About	Found this baby sparrow by my front door and put him back in his nest with his two other siblings but found him again 2 more times during the day. Later in the day I found him on the edge of his nest and figured that is why he kept falling out so fixed up the nest so it wouldn't be as easy for him to fall out. So far so good.

Thanks Art. I think what was happening is when one of the parents would bring food back to the nest it would sit on the edge of it which created an opening so when the birds came up to the parent to eat one of them were left hanging on that edge and would fall out if they couldn't get back in the nest.

i suppose another possibility is the other two are pushing him out, more food for them, survival of the fittest,
