A hanging bridge on river Ganges at Rishikesh, commonly known as Lakshmanjhula. it is believed to be related to the famous epic - Ramayana. The hindus believe that the bridge is built by Lakshmana, brother of Lord Rama, while they were in their journey towards Heaven.
@ Clay Boutin - the river Ganges flows more than 100 ft below this bridge, this is the Himalayan section of this river, close to it's source - the Gangotri glacier.
