About	The paint scalloping was used to customize cars in the late 1950's and the 1960's. Depending on the owner, the scallops could be small like on this car or they could be large and complicated covering the hood, roof, trunk, and sides. They were usually done in complimentary colors. Pin stripping was often used to compliment the lines of the scallops.
