What a sight ! Simple and effective. The softness serves very well the overall impression. This is a quality I find in pretty much all your pics, you succeed in conveying an overall impression without frills yet with enough manipulation to make a clear statement.

While this is easy to enjoy as the colors are striking and it is nice and soft... I still feel like some small part of the main flower should be in focus... Keep sharing your inspired vision John. Good stuff!

The background is a magazine photo lit by daylight. I hand held the tiny flower in front of my macro lens and ringlight. Very straight forward exposure. No photoshop.
