Just out of curiosity - did you get the overexposed look via camera settings or PhotoShop? I only ask because I've tried self-portraits wanting much the same effect you've achieved here, but I always end up tweaking it in PhotoShop. I can never seem to overexpose (whether it's through shutter speed or film speed or camera aperture or everything at once). That is, of course, unless I'm not trying to overexpose . . .
At any rate, I like this photo a lot. I think I'm partial to portraits that only show a portion of the face - they're much more intriguing and compelling! There's a bit of graininess, and I think turning to the left slightly would have helped both eyes to be lit equally (because that's definitely the focus here), but those are my only nitpicks. I think this is great. Horizontal compositions usually don't work that well with portraits, but it's used very effectively here in conjunction with the empty space.

The cool crop, b&W and toning give this an eccentric feel. I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy your shots. Cheers!
