G'day John,

Thanks for your comments and for looking through my portfolio on Usefilm.

I guess I'm still immature - haven't settled on a particular style yet, still "playing" after 30+ years of photography.

I'm still digesting your portfolio, you've got some really wonderful stuff there.

well, from portraits, wide landscapes, flowers wilting over time (something only an artist would do), Japanese chiseles with oak handles and great street shots - an extensive and full portfolio - and I enjoy the ride!! wonderful work and a great passion you show for the image ... happy new year .. best regards, john strazza

I always like to go see what kind of photographer takes time to add a comment to my photos and what made them interested in any of my images. This picture gives me an idea of what you were intrigued with about my image "Believe or not"/ Altho I must say as a photographer you were 'looking' for and saw this image and apparently saw something very interesting about the 'form' of the shadow being cast onto the wall? This is what photography is all about..looking for and seeing the 'unique' photos that can be captured such as the one you have posted here. My photo was just a 'happening' that was unusual.

Ron,
This is scan from colour neg, in PSP I just split out the red channel and made some minor adjustment to contrast and cropped a little.

I think if you brought the shadows up a bit so we could see the plant in the right lower, you would have a lovely pictorialist effect. I also think I'm probably missing the point. My loss, not yours.

Besides BW, what did you do in PSP to change this?
