Love your portfolio, but this is my absolute favorite! Perfect composition and lighting -- the dark stormy skys offer great contrast to the white bark of the aspens. Simply lovely!

This is a stunning picture.You did it right, more,after being right you made it excellent.Congratulations. Thanks for an inteligent,civilized and helpful critic to my odd flower.Everything you said is and could be right.It dependes upon what you are aiming for.You want a nice, perfect,righ picture of a flower,ok, your are dead right.But that was not my purpose.My aim was/is a different picture of flower.No rules, no used ways, but something out of the routine.Two or three or four flowers,any dof , I was only concerned with the broad image, the impact image, not details.What you said, stil right, but that was not my way.Did I failed? Is my picture a flop? OK, why not, I can try and try again. Regards jorge
I thought you were joking about the sky from the tnail! This image is simple and effective due to the depth through those trees to the black backdrop of sky. Great exposure too, considering the extremes.
