I wonder if the Giger connection is what limits people's interpretations here. I understand your influence by Giger, and strictly interpreted that way, this is more powerful in the blue tint. But this image, in and of itself, is a powerful visage. Well done.

well, as an exact copy of some work from giger maybe it would miss the point, but certainly you know that there are also different (esp. the early) works of giger: and their aura is truly reproduced here. moreover, it stands alone as art, exactly in that direction you are experimenting: outgrowing giger's dead metal creepy organisms and creatures :)

I'm not sure if it works or not Jim, for me Giger is a bit of a legend and his work is very organic albeit in a very cybernetic fashion. You've captured the dark moodiness but I find your image looks more like a tribal feather totem. It needs more of a metallic edge to it. I do however love your style and you should keep your own although they do say imitation is the highest form of flattery.
