So beautiful this one too, I really love it! Love this tones and mood, also the dramatic sky and the lovely little house! I get curious how this would look with a crop on top, and as a horisontal image. I'm not sure if that would be better, and it feels really perfect like this too. I just get that feeling that perhaps the line between the bottom of the very dark sky and the rest of the image is a bit to much in the center.

Hi Lorenzo, I like this of course, being addicted to storms. At first I was thinking the crop was a little tight, but I think it works, adds to the tension of the looming cloud. Its a dramatic image, beautiful setting, and a gorgeous light falling on the scene. Good job with the ps work as well...

Spectacular image, Lorenzo. Subject, composition, and lighting are perfect. Whatever enhancements you made are understated and truly add to the power of the photo. I'm not sure why someone would have rated it all ones, except by mistake (since that is the default rating). If someone wrote a comment, but didn't adjust each rating individually, they might have accidentally rated it all ones, while intending to praise it fully. At the time of my rating, there were 38 comments and 39 ratings, and all the comments were (appropriately) very complimentary.

Mi piace molto la luce della parte bassa della foto. La nuvola nera da' un'aria molto cupa che complementa bene la luce della casa, secondo me; l'effetto e' appena un po rovinato dalle nuvole centrali molto chiare. Il senso di profondita' e' reso ottimamente, credo grazie allo sharpening (che settings usi, per curiosita'?).
