About Please note that the lighter area of the falls is not over-exposed. This was a slow shutter and the falls become blurred and the natural color is still there but no details can be seen due to the blur especially where the water is moving the fastest. Just place your cursor over the light area and if you're using a white cursor you'll see the water is slightly darker and pinkish due to the color reflecting from the open sky to the left of the area shown.

Bob, another fantastic shot. The water so fluid and the sharpness of the tree trunk make an excellent picture. Great work. don.

Other than the one area blown out, it looks great. Nice scenery, well captured. I like the slower shutter speed for the water.

Kyle, while the highlights in the water look "hot" this area is not completely blown out. Keep in mind the slow shutter used and this area of the water is quite blurred due to the speed of the falls and being the brightest part of the water there is no discernable details to be seen. It appears more as a blurred mist. It's almost 1 zone below pure white. Place your cursor over it to compare (as long as your cursor is white).

Digital doesn't react as film does in these situations. Film will show more of a bluish tone due to reciprocity failure. You don't get that with digital.

very nice. Great composition, great colors. The water almost looks like snow. maybe a little hot at the top of the water, but beautiful none-the-less
