When I saw the thumbnail (and before I read the title), I thought "why is this photographer of nature posting an image of the Gates of Hell?" -- You have a great eye--the image definitely evokes thoughts of Rodin (or is it the evocation of nature in Rodin's sculpture?). A little more depth of field at the bottom would have been nice but very interesting anyway.

So perfectly composed shapes and forms, a very interesting image and great quality! I really don't want to be tasteless, but somehow I start thinking of those mass graves with all the dead people when I see this.
