This is a cool image with a strong graphical element. The stitching is indeed seamless! Nice work, Joe. I have some images to stitch for a landscape, maybe I can try Photovista.

Explain stitching? Sure its an easy concept to grasp. You shoot frames that overlap by almost half. Imagine shooting 3 frames and being able to remove the middle one and still have all the image. After shooting I used a program called Photovista. It takes these images and knowing the focal length it slides them and bends them to fit together seamlessly. It is pretty cool when you try it. Most often it is used to make sweeping panoramas. It obviously can be used vertically.

I love lighthouses! This is a wonderfully composed photograph! Love the use of the reflection.
I don't understand the 5 frames stitched together thing, tho.
Perhaps you could explain it a little?

How cool that you did this with five frames. I really like the reflection. One thing you might consider is cropping just a bit off the bottom. Since this was five frames, however, the closeup of the water adds to the charm. It is nice to have options. Great job and thanks for sharing how you did it!
