Nostagic - sure it is. I am now nostalgic about my grand father's vintage car very similar to this in red. He was so proud of it - I use to think he was crazy, when I was a kid.

As for the shot - wonderful shot good enough to evoke anyone's nostalgia. Well done Joanne.

Nice picture. The smoke works really good here. Thank you for commenting my pic "the mirror knows". You asked how it was done: just a layer in photoshop7, overlapping two photos. My image was already taken in the mirror. Regards Anna K.

Extreemly interesting and extreemly good. Love the deep tones in this.
Compositionaly this is a very strong image. The car almost looks catty wompus but by scrooling it I see the top is horizontal but the bottom is a bit ascew. I think this adds to the dynamic quality of this and yet its a static object. The smoke touch isnt bad either. :) Nice work. Regards.

Now this turned out really cool! I love the vantage point and the lighting you got here - dramatic mixture of light and dark areas that really play up the graceful lines of the old car, and the gray sky adds to the mood, too. The wisp of smoke does add an interesting element - one of the few times cigarette smoke has been good for something :)
