About just two kids playing but for me they seem to bring everything together as though everything is there for them to enjoy...

wow...Roger this is my favorite:))) very good composition with the dramatic stones in the foreground. It was the best decision in b/w!
Best regards, Pia

Great image, very dramatic...I must admit that the child on the left is just a bit too far from the other to add value (IMOH)..still have have a great photo! Regards

This is a very strong seascape image with nice B&W tonality. The central child adds mood, scale, and interest. Although it is very good as is, I think the image would be a bit stronger if the child on the edge were cropped out (unless you have more on the negative that would really bring him into the photo). As it is, he is a bit of an afterthought that leads the viewer's eye to the edge, away from the central image. He isn't really close enough in to give a sense of two children playing together... You also might consider burning in the right lower corner just a little, again to solidify the composition and keep the eye from drifting toward the bright edge.
