About A village lady in Darjeeling, Northeast India. The 'Dot' on her forehead is called 'Bindhi'. All the girls sport it as make up. If you see a bindi in Red powder - that means the lady is married. If its any other color then she is not married. Very similar to wedding rings. Intresting cultural variation.
