Yes the camera is on Auto Focus, Continuous, only problem is its an old lens and not the new Silent Wave Motor type so its a little slower. But when on a "budget" I tend to stay one Generation behind because you can get some really good equipment resonable. the exception of course was the day a year ago when I plunked down some major jack for the D100. Wow again!!!!. This is outstanding. You must have that camera on autofocus to be able to get this in focus with the bird moving. Wonderful work . You are the best. Don.

Jim, you got some good lighting on this one. Sharpness and composition also look great. I assume he is coming in for a landing at the nest. I also like the puffy clouds in the sky, really adds to this great shot. Your making me want to go out and shoot some bird images. It's just so damn hot and humid down here that you hate to even go outside.
