Uwe, wonderful composition and colors. You have created a mysterious and melancholic mood suggesting so many late night movies and late night feelings. i love the headlight, how it feebly but determinedly pierces the colored steam with its white light. Hallo Uwe. Eine fantastische Arbeit. Das dürfte wohl das eindrucksvollste Dampflockbild sein, was ich bisher gesehen habe - tolle Stimmung, tolle Farben, toller Ausschnitt. Gruß Tom (PS: Danke für Deine Bewertung meines Bildes "I can hear you" - sicher hast Du es schon auf meiner Seite bei Photosig gesehen.)

@ Volker: Bei sowas mache ich immer Belichtungsreihen, aber meistens sehen die Bilder hinterher doch fast immer alle gleich aus. Liegt natürlich auch am Film, der VR 200, so billig wie er ist, ist bei Nachtaufnahmen alles andere als launisch, der steckt vieles weg. Natürlich habe ich hier dann auch noch ein bisschen nachgeholfen per EBV, aber wirklich nur minimal.
Ist übrigens der selbe Zug wie auf diesem anderen Foto.

@Debra: It is the front of a steam locomotive, waiting with its night train on the station. It was very windy this evening, so steam was blown into its frontlight.
