If they were sunflowers, I'd say it was van Gogh who took this shot :-). A good idea, with nice colors (the green and blue make a lot here).

Cool idea with a really striking result! I love the bits of bright blue showing through, and the unexpected texture fading in and out on the flowers. Nicely done!
