I like the composition, it is nicely balanced, IMO, I think the sky needs a good base to stand on, I love how the Sun is just peeking around the niche in the rock, the rock makes a wonderful main subject and you have handled the lighting perfectly, I like your technique as the comination is a perfect way of getting the exposures right.
