Shot at ZEBROW STUDIO in Los Angeles, California for assignment.Used Savage backround paper.Model was in love with her "one of a kind" designer blouse(can't remember Designer's name) so I maximised the translucent quality of the garment by putting one light behind the model pointed (more or less) at the camera.Used one light on front of model with soft box. Camera was tripod mounted.Used Sekonic light meter.
Yes she's wearing black gloves (leather I think). All she cared about was the lighting on the one-of-a-kind designer blouse(you know how excited guys get over stuff like that) so that's what I worked on (not my favorite model to work with but the shot came out close to about 90% of what she wanted/I was trying to make happen. Glad you liked it (and a few of the others).Take a look at "Gina Blown Out" (first one, at the bottom). Now THAT ONE I really like-that's EXACTLY what I was trying to do (easy model to work with also). Thanks for stopping by Dominik (and the first 3 commentors - sorry, I'm a little late)
My first impression before reading your comments was that this was a runway shot. The lower camera angle and her straight on to the camera pose and dead pan expression led me to think this. Not saying it is a bad thing. Great fashion shot!
